Series 1100 crankbaits, like the Series 1000, are only 1.5-inches long but the different lip configuration digs this small crankbait to depths of 3 to 6 feet. Try it for schooling fish when bait has been pushed to the surface by bass below. A deeper swimming bait can trigger strikes from reluctant, larger fish that are hanging below the school.

Over all I like the brandit crankbait, but the last few I have used the body broke off the bill. With the exception of running it around rocky bottoms I am not sure why they broke. Maybe just a bad batch.

Pros: Large selections of colors. Can be purchased at a lot of stores. Prices are reasonable

I carry an assortment of these lures and they still catch fish. I like the Bandit series, and the 100, 200, 300, and 400 series. They are classic fish catchers.

I would rate Bandit's "Shallow Flat Maxx" crank bait as one of the top 4 crank baits ever manufactured. PS The bass don't seem to care when the finish isn't as flawless as the day you started fishing with it anyway!

Pros: Have been a crank bait fan for many years and have tried almost every size, shape, color and brand that has been, and is currently, manufactured. Bandit Lures have a real winner with their Shallow (3 to 6 ft) Flat Maxx crank bait. They have an extensive range of colors and, best of all, they really catch bass....big bass!
Cons: To put a truly realistic finish on a crank bait that gets banged on it's sides hour after hour by 2 sets of treble hooks...is difficult if not near impossible. Bandit has that problem too....along with nearly every other manufacturer of reasonably-priced crank bait lures.

I like to use the series 1100 bandit crankbaits to bounce off of stumps in 3 to 6 feet deep water along creek edges.
