Berkley 100% Fluorocarbon, Tuesday, 25 March 2008 Written by J B
Common Recommend to Others:
Yes
Pros: very strong line I actually dropped down 1 line size on most of my rods. The line dia. is the same as the other brands that I checked. I was very pleased with the way it handles on on spinning reel. At the end of a cast the line stops flowing of the spool and then slowly feeds of the spool as the bait sinks. I had no problems with memory or line twist. With the 14lb line on a jig rod I cut my hand trying to break off a snag so I am now using 12lb for my jig fishing. Very strong stuff. Worth the price as I see it. Cons: As with most Fluorocarbon it is expensive

Common Recommend to Others:
Yes
Pros: I like the idea of it changing colors with the sun light and heat. This also allows you to know if you over heated your knot when tying it. Cons: Seemed to be extra sensitive to heat and would break easily at the knots (could have been my knot)
