Reel is an outstanding addition to our arsenal. Has added the light line system needed for senkos and "wacky" styles. The "spare" spool in the cloth bag was an nice touch. Can't think of a better reel for this style of fishing. Fit my billfold well and does a great job to boot.

Recommend to Others: Yes
Pros: Design and weight make this an outstanding reel. The anti line twist feature actually works. The 10 bearing system is so smooth. Drag feature is wonderful.
Cons: Changing from right to left retrieve a little hard. No instruction but, not a big issue

The reel was $95.00 Canadian which was excellent value at the time I bought. An aluminum Stradic at the time would run me about twice as much. This is the first "good" spinning reel I have bought. I compared it to a number of other reels at "The Sportsman Show" in Toronto and came away very impressed. The only reason i gave it a 4 on durability is that I have only used it about 25 times so I don't feel that I can give it a 5 until it has had some more time on the water. My only real concern is how strong the coating is on the magnesium. I haven't managed to chip or scratch it anywhere yet but as someone who has had real mag wheels on a car before I know how fast magnesium can corrode once the air gets to it. I figured it was a worthwhile trade off for the light weight.

Pros: Light weight, smooth drag
Cons: none as of yet but i will be keeping an eye on the coating of the magnesium

As their top of the line reel I found it to be fair, I have not played with it on the water though only in the stores.

Recommend to Others: Yes
Pros: Lightweight durable magnesium body & rotor, seems to have a very smooth drag system.
Cons: I have gotten to where I like a quick fire button of other manufacturers.
