Awesome reel, another great addition to any shimano stradic set, you will love it. Cons: a little heavy. Pros: New and better, the older version was the FH ( great reels too ). The new 2500FI is a lightweight spinning reel, new Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement, Propulsion Line Management System and Aero Wrap II oscillation, the SR-Concept equipped Stradic MgFB is the answer. Featuring a cold forged aluminum spool that has been drilled to further reduce weight, and small body profiles compared to spool capacity, the Stradic MgFB is excellent for all light tackle needs. I use the 8lb test with 100 yard spool on it and very happy with it, very light, smooth casting, great reel all around. Pros: Loaded with features, made with high quality care from Shimano. One of the very nicest reels ever built by Shimano, 4 Stainless Steel Ball Bearings and One Roller Bearing, All Aluminum Body, good line capacity. Very smooth reel.
