About

No one knows fishing boats like TRACKER®. We were the first to build a complete, ready-to-fish boat package and sell it at a nationally published price. We’ve been at it since the 1978 model year and no one does it better. The superior quality and value of TRACKER Boats has made us the number-one-selling fishing boat for 29 years.

If you could peel back the hull of a TRACKER® boat, you'd see why they're so brawny and long lasting. Marine-grade aluminum forms the hull, longitudinal stringer system, compartment lids and the all-aluminum transom. Precision manufacturing equipment guarantees a consistent, tight fit. Internal support systems are designed to provide stiffness and rigidity. Pressurized foam, which provides maximum flotation that meets or exceeds U.S. Coast Guard requirements, is injected to reduce flexing and to improve rough water performance. Special tools and techniques, created by our master craftsmen, boost the strength and sturdiness of individual pieces and the welds that join them. Every external weld on our all-welded hulls is guaranteed with a transferable DuraTrack™ Limited Lifetime Warranty. The external welds on your TRACKER boat are guaranteed as long as you own it, or we'll fix it for free. Your local dealer can provide more details.

I bought this boat while looking for a 175, but the price was right and the boat was bigger. I am very happy with this boat, it handles well and has plenty of storage. For a tin boat, the ride is fairly smooth and dry. It is very good on fuel and floats in around six inches of water. I got the four stroke 60hp, I love the four stroke but should have upgraded the motor for more speed (38mph) I think this is a great boat without spending a lot of money. I would by one again, so far the customer service has been good.

I am very happy with the boat so far. The boat is comfortable to drive and fish from. For someone that can't afford one of the high dollar boats I thought this was a good deal. I thought the boat interior could have been a little cleaner when I picked it up. There were small pieces of aluminum from drilling that were left on the carpet. The live well was also very dirty. I think the manufacture should have cleaned up a little better and the dealer should definitely have made sure the boat was cleaned up. The electronics are not bad. It came with a Lowrance X37TX which is the bottom of the Lowrance depth sounder/fish finder line. There was plenty of room on the circuit breaker panel to wire in an external GPS unit. The rod storage will hold 6 rods but they will probable get tangled up in each other. I would like to see some kind of insert in the rod storage that would keep the rods from getting tangled up. The boat also came with a cover. I would recommend this boat to someone that is on a budget or buying a fishing boat for the first time.

I will never buy another Tracker boat!! I picked up this boat the 1st week of February 2007. The 1st time I took it out I noticed some oil on the water as I was loading the boat. When I got it home there was oil running down the lower unit. I took some rags and solvent and cleaned it up inside and out. The oil level indicated full. I took it out again a few days later and ran it for 4 hours, there was oil on the water again when I loaded and on the lower unit when I got home. The oil level was between a ¼ & ½ low. I called the dealer and made an appointment to take it in. When I picked it up a couple of days later I was told there was no oil leak. When I said I was sure there was I was told it was my imagination and that they had run the motor for an hour with no sign of an oil leak. When I checked the hour meter it had been run for less then a 1/10 of and hour.
When I took it out the next time I took it out and ran it for about 4 hours the oil was below the fill line on the dip stick. I returned it to the dealer again. After having it for a week I was told it was fixed and the it was a missing "O" ring on the back of the fuel pump. I was told that they took the whole motor off of the lower unit to repair it but they did not have a new gasket for the motor/lower unit and that they had used some silicone seal instead of a new gasket. I was showed the sealant, it was so dried up that the mechanic had to use a screw driver to dig it out of the tube. I was also told that Mercury had approved the repair. I tried to contact Mercury but have received no response from them.
I have also had problems with the compartment covers, they fit poorly and leak like sieves. The boat came with a Motor Guide trolling motor that keeps tripping the over load. I called Motor Guide and was told that the overload was too small and that it was supplied by Tracker. I have no faith in the dealers repair department and have told the factory so, I have had no response from Tracker trying to solve these problems. I"m just told to see the dealer and as I said I have no faith in them.
