Parasite Weights and Clips, Sunday, 09 March 2008 Written by Mike Meier
Terminal Accessories Review Manufacturer: ParasiteDescription: Stainless steel clips and weights Price: 2.50 Number Per Pack: 10 Common Recommend to Others:
Yes
Pros: Holds plastics tight to the weight. Eliminates "balling up" of plastics onto hook when pulling through heavy cover. Clips can be used with tungsten weights any size. Cons: Still not convinced that the weight/clip combination doesn't cause some missed strikes. They don't make any heavy weight/clip single piece units in the 3/4-1 1/2 oz sizes for pitching grass mats.

Better than Suspenders!, Friday, 11 January 2008 Written by James Teer aka bassadict59
Terminal Accessories Review Manufacturer: ParasiteDescription: Parasite Clips Price: 2.50 Number Per Pack: 20 Common Recommend to Others:
Yes
Pros: There isn't anything worse than baggy pants that keep trying to fall off EXCEPT those bass tubes that keep sliding down the hook! Every other cast...slide it back up onto the hook because it slid down. Those are days of the past with the Parasite clips. I used them for the first time the other day during a club tournament & I must say, the tube never once slid down the hook while using the Parasite clips. I was using the #2 clips with 4 & 4 1/2 tubes & they worked perfectly! Cons: The only negative I encountered was grass...the clip wanted to grab a little grass & hang onto it along with the tube. A smaller clip very well may have cured the problem but I only had the one size on hand. It wasn't a major issue but I did have to pull very small amounts of grass off the clip several times during the day. The advantages definitely outweighed this VERY SMALL disadvantage!

Pros: You do not have to change baits as often. Hold soft plastics in place and not moving up your line when you hook a fish. Cons: None as of yet.
