About

Whether it's the smooth ride from our patented hulls... the peace of mind from our upright, level flotation... the strength of our patented fiberglass transoms and fiberglass stringers...the added efficiency of a Ranger livewell system, or even the way every part fits together like a solid, one-piece design... we never stop innovating.

It's a personal commitment to excellence from each of us to every Ranger owner. After all, we're on the water day in and day out. We know how unpredictable things can get. And we also know the importance of trust. The need to know your rig wasn't built on clever ad hype, but on the never-ending lessons of real experience. Like the lessons we've learned in the frigid, hammering waters of the Great Lakes or the challenging winds of Mead and Okeechobee. Even the sharpened stump beds of Rayburn, Toledo Bend, and Lake Fork have taken their best shots at us.
At Ranger, we've spent more than three and a half decades going one on one with the outdoors and the unforgiving element of time.

I ordered my boat last Feb. and got it May 1st I have put 30 hrs on the motor so far and the boat it top notch. It runs and handles like a dream, no chine walking just flat out great. I upgraded so it has all the things the next class up has except for a few little things I can do without i just love my ranger and great fuel mpg with the optimax. I would buy another ranger when this one wears out.

I bought my R61 last year used, I rated this boat based on how well the boat has maintained it's look and function over the past 7 years. This boat was an "outside" stored boat for alot of it's previous life, even tho, the carpet and interior are in better than fair shape, the finish on the hull is still looking great. The 90HP Yamaha on the back runs strong and fires right off. The only cons i can think of so far are the livewell latch pulled loose of the lid, easy fix tho. The boat didn't come with a pro pedestal or lean seat but after getting one I am really enjoying it and so is my back. This boat is the perfect starter boat, and is big enough to take me the wife and my son out on fishing trips.

I love this boat!! It may not set the water on fire as far as speed, but when it comes to handling and durability it is bar none the best boat that I have owned. I have people all the time ask me if it is for sale, I just tell them maybe or maybe not, but it is not for sale right now!! The boat with me and a partner tournament load will get about 53 to 55 GPS speed, so it runs pretty good. This boat handles rough water very well, it may only be 17' but it handles rough water like a 19 or 20' rig. When I do buy me another boat it will be a Ranger.
