This is a great bait and gets a much better hook up ration for me than other soft plastic frogs. The paddles at the end of the legs create a buzz bait type commotion on a steady retreive.

I have used these baits over grass, Lilly pads, through timber cover, over water hycinith and hydrila. All with great sucess. There are several retrieve methods to use with these baits. Slow walking the bait over the pads and grass like a swimming or jumping frog, utilizing a "popping" retrieve really gets the paddle legs to gurggle producing violent strikes, buzzing across grass beds, worm type retrieve for working around timber cover. I have found that time of day has not really been a factor as this bait will produce strikes throughout the day. Chartreuse is my first color of choice, but all the color variations have produced fish. The provided "bleeding" hooks have good penetraion and the design allows the hook to lay flat on the body making them practically snag proof. This bait has become a staple item in my tackle box.

I personally prefer the high floating Ribbits. They stay at the surface longer, and they just seem to have more of a realistic action to them. Overall i like these frogs a lot. I recommend.
