Gizz4, catches fish for me!, Tuesday, 10 April 2007 Written by Jeff Plummer
I've fished the Tennessee river with it, Ft. Loudon Dam, Guntersville Dam, Wheeler Dam and Wilson Dam tailwaters. The original Gizz4 shallow diver can be brought down to deeper water and fish w/egg sinker above swivel, 2 foot leader then Gizz4. I've fished the Ohio River below Greenup Dam and Meldahl Dam tailwaters, same scenario, fish it w/out sinker, great action, catches them shallow, add weight, catch them deep. Even in current in boils of tailwaters, Gizz4 behaves like Gizzard Shad, many a striper below Ft. Loudon dam, you can see pics on the Smack Tackle website forums, reports. Just recently below Greenup dam first cast, approx. 5lb hybrid bass on White Pearl Gizz4, came back a few hours later, 19 and 22 inch hybrids in a matter of 1/2 hour or so! There's a mid and deep diver version coming soon, as well as a Gizz3 version to match smaller bait fish hatches. LMJeff Common Recommend to Others:
