While the larger ones are made for holding lures you can have this hang off your pants and hold other stuff like a bag of worms rolled up.

Pros: It is not cloth-like! Most products that cover your lure that I have seen only cover the lure like a pocket around a wallet. It takes less effort for a hook to penetrate something cloth-like as opposed to something hard.
Cons: Sizes. So far there are none that are able to hold 7" and up swimbaits. I'd really like to see some because of this swimbait craze. Also there are none that will fit around wide baits such as spinnerbaits.

I won a pack of these froum Ultimatebass.com. Not only is the lure tamer good to use on lures attached to your rod, but I also use it as storage when I go bank fishing. I can throw 3 or 4 crankbaits in one of them and put some hooks and weights in another.

I won these in a Ultimate Bass contest, but will likely be buying another pack so I have enough for all my rods so I can start storing them in the house without my wife worrying that the cats will poke themselves on the hooks.

After-purchase results.....our life just got easier! I intend to use these to store pre-tied carolina rigs during tourneys to cut down on time tying after break offs.

Description: I saw this tool while at the Fast Cat factory in Dania, Florida. All I can say is WOW!! I only wish I had thought of it. This will assist boaters from having to lose time separating hooks in the rod box....but it also will keep things tidy and protect the seats where co-anglers keep their rods. I will have more than a few of these for myself, and to let co-anglers use while they are in the boat, too.
